Why did you specifically choose Christina Nicholas as your videographer?
Our planner has worked with Carlos and Christa before, so their name came up quickly. When I viewed their portfolio, it was immediately clear: we wanted these two talented and warm people as videographers for our wedding film. Their work not only exudes craftsmanship, but also elegance and exceptional attention to detail. From that moment, we knew they were perfect to capture our day beautifully.
Why did you choose to have a wedding film and have your day filmed?
I love capturing moments in everyday life: dinners, family gatherings, vacations, birthdays—the big and the small moments. So why would I not have our wedding professionally filmed? Moving images have so much impact and value, telling the story in a way that photos alone cannot. For us, it made perfect sense that a videographer is one of the first vendors to book once the date and location are set, so that every emotion and special moment can be preserved in a wedding film for a lifetime.
Why did you choose La Butte aux Bois as your wedding venue?
For us, there really is no wedding venue in Belgium that can compare to La Butte aux Bois. Elegant, intimate, and secluded, with excellent food, outstanding wines, and service that makes everything possible. There was no doubt for us: La Butte aux Bois was the perfect choice for our wedding.
How did you experience Christa and Carlos during your day?
Amazing! Carlos and Christa know exactly when to be active and when to step back. It is so wonderful to have such a calm and relaxed videography couple around you on your wedding day. Their communication is smooth and clear, and their wedding films are truly breathtaking. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are with our film. You have created something that reflects us perfectly, while also radiating a magical, almost fairytale-like atmosphere. It is truly a treasure that we will cherish forever.

Do you have any advice you would like to share with other couples?
As most couples say: enjoy your day! It goes by so fast. After months of planning, it is important to pause and really appreciate the special moments you have created. For example, reading your vows aloud gives your guests a beautiful insight into your love and connection. And do not forget to take a moment for yourselves: breathe together, feel your togetherness, and remember why you are celebrating this day.
